Benson Records Management Center was a division of Benson Transfer and
Storage, a local mover of household goods since 1926. The Westerfield
family has owned the company since 1955, and the premises where the
company has operated since 1988.
In 1988 upon completion of a new office/warehouse facility, Benson
Records Management Center was started. Benson Transfer and Storage was sold in 2003, placing the business focus on managing records and providing complete destruction services.
Benson Records provides offsite records and computer media management
as well as shredding services for over 300 companies, including many of Omaha’s
largest.
Since 1989 three additions have been added to the facilities owned by the Westerfield family, currently providing more than 1.4 million cu.ft. of storage
space on 5 acres. |
